Bad Gyal is one of the most interesting artists in the music industry, despite her recent arrival. She’s put out some of the hottest tracks of Spain’s urban music scene like Fiebre, Jacaranda, Candela or the newest Santa Maria, and she’s released two globally acclaimed mixtapes: Slow Wine (2016) and Worldwide Angel (2018). She has worked with notable producers like Dubbel Dutch, Jam City, El Guincho, Dj Florentino, Cadenza, Paul Marmota, D33J and her partner in crime FakeGuido (producer and live DJ) with whom she’s toured Europe, Asia, Latin America and the USA several times. Her music has gained critical acclaim by some of the greatest, trend setting magazines such as Pitchfork, The Fader, Fact Mag or The Guardian, and they’ve all come to the same conclusion: her sound is shaping the future of music.
Bad Gyal started off 2019 recording new hits in Miami, Puerto Rico and Los Angeles with some of the greatest producers on the international scene. Soon we’ll be able to hear her new music published by Interscope – Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish and Lady Gaga’s record label – and Aftercluv. Bad Gyal will also be back performing this summer at some of the greatest festivals like Sonar (Barcelona) and Moma PS 1 (New York).
