ohn Mailander is an acclaimed multi-instrumentalist, performer, producer, and recording artist. He is a member of Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers, and the leader of his own project, John Mailander's Forecast. His playing can be heard on albums by Billy Strings (including the Grammy-winning album Home), Joy Williams, Noah Kahan, Lucy Dacus, Molly Tuttle, and many more. As a touring musician, John has worked closely with artists including Billy Strings, Mighty Poplar, Sierra Hull, Jacob Jolliff, Lindsay Lou, Ruth Moody, Tony Trischka, Bella White, Keller Williams, and many others. His latest album, John Mailander's Forecast - Look Closer, was released in 2021 to critical acclaim, and he is currently at work on a follow-up.
